All of the kids born this February were sired by our gentle giant, Mercury.  He is a lamb to work with, a trait he inherited
from his father so I'm assuming his bucklings and wethers will have a similar disposition.  His father is the American
Boer Goat Association enobled Downen Pipeline's Sparkplug and all of his grand parents and great grandparents on
his sire's side are enobled including Pipeline, Lobola S.A., Downen Big 85 and Mojo Magic.

Wether buying season is over for most county fairs and I didn't dehorn any of the bucklin
gs so the couple I have left
would only be appropriate for events that allow horns.  If they don't go for wethers, they'll go for meat.

You are welcome to visit the farm in Waite Hill, Lake County, Ohio, to check them out in person anytime.  Just call me
at 216-832-4495 or e-mail me at
hensburyfarm@yahoo.com to set up a time.  Wethers will be ready to go home by
mid-April (or I can keep them until school is out if you prefer).  Wethers will sell for $100-$300 each.  Payment is due
at time wether is reserved.
Wethers
Hermione's 1st Boy

While not our heaviest, this fullblood Boer
may be the cutest and he has an excellent
chest.  Born at a healthy 8 lbs, he is gaining
nicely and is quite the nuzzler.
Mocha's 1st Boy

This bruiser is already 15 pounds and is
averaging about a half a pound a day weight
gain.  His mother was all chocolate so he has a
flashy full cape and colored patches underneath.
Mocha's 2nd  Boy

Brother to the wether above, he's classic Boer color
with adorable star and a tiny spot on his back right
leg.  Believe it or not, he weighs more than his
brother.  Mocha is quite the attentive mother and
cleary makes sure they are eating well.
Hannah's 2nd Boy

Another one gaining about 1/2 pound per day.
Great heavy bones and nice chest.  This
spunky wether is already sampling the hay.
Hannah's 1st Boy

Born at over 10 lbs, this cute guy has a couple
of spots on his nose.  Look at his muscle after
two weeks.
He's gained .40 lbs per day and
has thick bone structure.

Decided to keep these two brothers as a bucklings.  They both gained a half
a pound a day which would make either of these percentage bucks great
sires for a commerical herd or for wethers.  See buck page for recent photos.
Another one I've kept intact.  Too good a growth rate to go to
slaughter.  See buck page for a more recent photo.
