Started in 2005, the farm sits on 15 acres of well drained silty loam with a fabulous view over a nature preserve.  My goal is to take advantage of the natural synergies between the farmland and selected flora and fauna to offer products not readily available in the Cleveland area. 

The open area of the hillside is perfect for building muscle on my Boer goats.  The forested hillside provides the  proper environment for wild ramps, golden seal and ginseng.  

The super soil structure on the flat sections produces beautiful dahlias and sunflowers primarily sold to florists.  Composted goat manure keeps the soil productive.  I’m adding woody cuts - blue stem willow, forsythia and more to have something from the garden to offer in the spring. 

The chickens live in a mobile cedar coop.  Moving the coop every week or so in the summer not only keeps the chickens healthy and gives them access to fresh bugs and grass, it fertilizes new sections of garden for the following summer.
